Poppies Restaurant
One of Bali’s earliest dining destinations, unchanged for over fifty years, Poppies Restaurant invites guests to dine and drink beneath a canopy of flowers, surrounded by gardens and pools. A time-capsule of the Bali of yesteryears.
Established in 1973. Serving warm, Balinese hospitality in a timeless setting.
Timeless Dining.
-
Restaurant.
Our food is hearty and wholesome: a diverse menu spanning authentic Indonesian specialties and international delights – and, being so close to the ocean, our seafood dishes are as fresh as can be. A signature at Poppies Restaurant is the Rijstaffel, or ‘Rice Table’, a traditional smorgasbord of Indonesian delicacies.
-
Bar.
Just as iconic is the bar, resembling the tropical bars of a bygone era, where many a care-free conversation can be had whilst enjoying a classic holiday cocktail, a cold local beer or our selected wine list. A must-try is the Poppies Piña Colada, served in a coconut carved into a Balinese ‘Barong’ mask.
Opening Hours
The restaurant is open daily from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm.
